We are a client-centred occupational therapy service based in Bankstown, supporting people across the lifespan – from children and families through to adults of all ages and support needs. Our therapy focuses on building independence, participation and confidence in everyday life through practical, personalised supports that meet each person where they are.

Our Services

At OTS: AAAS, our occupational therapists provide comprehensive assessments and practical therapy programs that focus on each client’s goals, strengths and daily routines.

We support clients to develop the skills they need for everyday life, including fine and gross motor skills, self-care, dressing, showering, cooking, money handling, travel training, social participation and community access.

Early Intervention and School Aged Therapy

Supporting children to build the skills they need for play, learning, self-care, emotional regulation, social participation and school readiness.

Assessments and Reports

Completing occupational therapy assessments and clear, practical reports to identify strengths, functional needs, support requirements and therapy recommendations.

Aged Care

Helping older adults maintain safety, independence and quality of life through practical support with daily activities, mobility, equipment and home environments.

Assistive Technology

Recommending equipment, aids and technology that support independence, safety, communication, mobility and participation in everyday life.

Education

Providing guidance, strategies and training for families, carers, educators and support teams to better understand and support each person’s daily needs.

Supervision

Providing professional supervision and mentoring for occupational therapists and students to support safe, reflective and evidence-informed practice.

Our Team

Our team includes experienced occupational therapists and allied health assistants who work together to provide professional, practical and client-centred support. We value clear communication, cultural responsiveness and collaborative care, with Arabic-speaking therapists available to support clients and families who prefer to communicate in Arabic.

Ms Fida

Director | Principal Senior Occupational Therapist

OTS: AAAS is owned and directed by Fida Hajaj, Principal Senior Occupational Therapist, who provides a wide range of occupational therapy services to clients across the Sydney region.

Fida graduated from the University of Western Sydney, Macarthur in 1999 and brings over 21 years of occupational therapy experience across community, hospital and clinical settings. She has extensive knowledge across a broad range of occupational therapy practice areas, supporting clients of all ages and life stages with functional assessments, therapy intervention, equipment prescription, home modifications, disability support, aged care, paediatrics and daily living skills.

Fida’s passion for occupational therapy is deeply embedded in her professional practice and her commitment to helping people improve their independence, safety and quality of life. She is fluent in Arabic, and her culturally diverse background allows her to better understand and support clients and families from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Ms Hana

Ms Hana

Senior Occupational Therapist

Hana has worked as an occupational therapist since 2012, with extensive experience supporting adults with chronic health conditions, complex disabilities and high support needs in community settings.

Since joining OTS: AAAS in 2022, Hana has expanded into paediatric therapy while continuing to work with clients of all ages. She has strong experience in home modifications, equipment prescription, functional assessments and practical therapy programs that support independence and daily living.

Hana has a particular interest in supporting children with behavioural challenges, emotional regulation difficulties and daily routine participation, using a structured, practical and encouraging approach.

Ms Rachel

Ms Rachel

Occupational Therapist

Rachel is a Western Sydney University graduate with experience supporting children with disabilities across a range of therapy and care settings. She has a strong passion for working with children and their families, with a focus on helping children build the skills they need for play, learning, self-care, emotional regulation, food aversions and everyday participation.

Rachel provides child-focused occupational therapy intervention that is practical, engaging and tailored to each child’s strengths, needs and family routines. She also supports adult clients through functional assessments, equipment prescription and daily living skill development, bringing a flexible and client-centred approach to her work across the lifespan.

Ms Noor

Ms Noor

Occupational Therapist

Noor is an occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting children to build skills through play and meaningful everyday activities. She has a strong interest in fine motor development and uses creative, engaging approaches to help children feel confident, calm and motivated in therapy.

Noor has experience working with children with Autism, ADHD and developmental delays, as well as completing comprehensive assessments and reports. She also provides recommendations for assistive equipment and home modifications to support safety, independence and participation in daily life.

Ms Zeinab

Ms Zeinab

Allied Health Assistant

Zeinab is an allied health assistant with a warm, bubbly and engaging approach to supporting children in therapy. She has a strong interest in paediatric occupational therapy and enjoys helping children build skills through play, everyday activities and curiosity for learning.

Zeinab has experience working with children with Autism, ADHD and developmental delays, and holds a Bachelor of Social Science. She works closely with occupational therapists to support therapy programs and helps families carry over practical strategies at home, school and in the community.

Ms Samira

Allied Heath Assistant

Samira is an allied health assistant who is currently completing her degree in Primary Education. She has a strong interest in supporting children’s learning, school readiness and classroom participation through practical, engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

She enjoys working with children to build skills that support success at school, including fine motor development, handwriting, attention, following instructions, organisation, emotional regulation and social participation. Samira works closely with occupational therapists to support therapy programs and help children apply their skills across home, school and everyday routines.

Mr Malek

Mr Malek

Allied Health Assistant

Malek is an allied health assistant who is currently completing his Master of Occupational Therapy. He brings a calm, supportive and practical approach to therapy, helping clients build confidence, independence and participation in everyday activities.

As a positive male role model, Malek is especially valued by many children and young people who engage well with male support in therapy. He works closely with occupational therapists to support skill development across play, self-care, emotional regulation, social participation and daily routines.

Allied Health Assistant

Esra is an allied health assistant who is currently completing a degree in Teaching. She brings a caring, patient and practical approach to supporting clients in therapy, with a strong interest in health, wellbeing and daily living skills.

Esra works closely with occupational therapists to support therapy programs that help clients build confidence, independence and participation in everyday routines, including self-care, regulation, play, mobility and functional skill development.

Ms Leanne

Allied Health Assistant

Leanne is an Allied Health Assistant who is currently studying Occupational Therapy. She has experience working with children through tutoring, where she has supported learning, confidence, and skill development in a patient and encouraging way.

Leanne is passionate about working with children and enjoys helping them develop independence, confidence, and everyday skills through fun and supportive activities. Her background in tutoring has strengthened her ability to break tasks down, adapt activities to suit each child’s needs, and create positive learning experiences.
